It all began when Lexi was a little girl making scrapbooks out of her mom’s old wallpaper sample books on the office floor, while Jennifer was at work on the drafting table. 32 years later, they were still at it, yet lived 7500 miles apart. Jennifer had been a designer for 35 years creating interiors with an eye for craftsmanship and attention to details. Lexi was lead designer for a Product Development Company in Hong Kong with a love for high-quality, aesthetics and design in the details. In 2008, Lexi opened her first Interior Design Studio in Hong Kong. At this time the Mother Daughet duo partnered to create, Alexandra Lauren Interior Design!
Over the years, Jennifer and Alexandra have been honored to work on a wide variety of commercial and residential interior design projects all around the world. Lexi opened their first storefront in Jackson, TN in 2020, Alexandra Lauren Home. Alexandra Lauren Home Collection offeres a Lighting and Wallpaper Bar, Custom Upholstery, Window Treatments, Rugs, Accessories, Bed Linens and Furniture for both indoors and out. Their carefully curated collection is open Monday-Saturday at 2192 Express Drive, Suite B in Jackson.

Since founding Alexandra Lauren in Hong Kong in 2008, Lexi has built her business by creating one-of-a-kind spaces that reflect the people whose unique lives take place over the design layer. Her clean design aesthetics balance comfort and romance and luxury. She believes that your human experience should be enhanced by your surroundings.
Lexi attributes her modern appreciation to aesthetics to her time spent living in Hong Kong; but her love for the rustic and refined to her upbringing in Wyoming and Montana. Lexi spent 12 years in China and Hong Kong where she designed houseware merchandise for Target, The Great Indoors, and many other mid-tier retailers and department stores for export to North America, Europe and Australia. The incredible detail that goes into product design and manufacturing translates beautifully into full home interiors, where her love for painstaking detail pays off.
As a design partner, she believes that your home shoudl be as unique as you are. Lexi invests in understanding your goals for a space; while artfully blending function and form to create a one of a kind bespoke home interior experience.
Lexi is married to Preston Powell, and together they have a son named, Hudson. On off days, the family enjoys gardening and spending time together exploring the great outdoors with their pups.

My dream was to be an interior designer since I was a young girl growing up on a cattle ranch in WY. My Mother was an artist and always looked for antiques so my love of art and antiques came naturally. After getting my degree in Anthropology and having my first baby, Lexi, I decided to do what I had always wanted and opened my own interior design firm, Jennifer Lenz Wright Interiors and enrolled in a masters of interior design program. Being able to work with Lexi in the design field has been such an exciting, inspiring blessing in my life.
Nature is my biggest inspiration soaking in the mountains and discovering crystal clear lakes and expansive vistas. I am inspired by my travels ranging from dung huts in the Masai Mari to castles in Scotland to the white symbol of love, the Taj Mahal, furniture and antique markets, art museums and the creativity of humans! The power of beauty can be found in so many unexpected places.
